BLOCKING HORMUZ STRAIT. Many pundits told Trump to keep bombing Iran until it has no more resistance to US demands. Including demands to stop their nuke program and their terrorism sponsorship. Because Iran recently showed its ballistic missiles have a 3,000 kilometer range. That threatens most of mainland Europe and all of the Middle East.

But Trump called for a ceasefire when Iran agreed to negotiate. Then the world saw that Iran won’t meet those demands. So what else can Trump do during a ceasefire?

He came up with a master stroke: block the Strait of Hormuz and sweep the mines. That enforces the ceasefire. Because even during the ceasefire, Iranian mines can blast away at ships that pass through the Strait. A true ceasefire disables the mines.

Yet certain nations which rely on oil coming through the Strait are complaining. Some of the same nations have refused to join in the solution the US offered: Join US efforts to ensure free passage through the Strait.

So it’s only logical for the US military to close the Strait till it disables the mines. Then to open the Strait under US and not Iranian control. And the other countries that surround the Strait are cheering the US on.

In fact, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar & Kuwait want the US to keep fighting till Iran can no longer attack them. Other countries, especially in Europe, have got to stop thinking backwards to the dangerous pre-war time. Then, the IRGC was free to keep arming terrorists. Instead they should think forward to a time when we can completely disable the IRGC. And help the US make that happen.

Father God, we exalt Jesus as Lord of the heavens, the earth and the sea and everything in them. And You have established the nations around that strait and narrow place. But the Hormuz Strait has until now remained free for navigation. Yet the enemy now wants terrorists to control it. And Iran’s terrorist regime has mined it to frighten law-abiding nations away.

So expose every location of every mine. For Your Spirit knows all things, even the deep things of God. Show and disable every mine and weapon that the enemy wants to use for evil. Make the disarming of this terrorism regime complete. Then disarm and delegitimize the terrorists themselves. Raise up Your growing and praying church in Iran to freedom of action and public participation. And establish the kind of government which will serve the people and Your good purposes for them.
