Sleeping Giants Awaken

SLEEPING GIANTS AWAKEN. Did they think that to kill Charlie Kirk meant the end of Turning Point? No, quite the opposite. Instead, within 48 hours of his assassination, Turning Point received 32,000 chapter applications. That would mean an average of 640 new chapters in every state of the US.

On the average, every state in the USA has 80 degree-granting colleges and universities. So Turning Point (TPUSA) could turn loose eight chapters on every one of them. Or, if we add the 27,000 high schools to the 4,000 colleges and universities, we have 31,000 total. Conceivably, Turning Point could assign a chapter to each one.

Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of “The Charlie Kirk Show” on radio, puts this in perspective. “TPUSA currently has 900 official college chapters and around 1,200 high school chapters, with a presence on 3,500 total. Charlie’s vision to have a Club America chapter (our high school brand) in every high school in America…will come true much much faster than he could have ever possibly imagined. Truly incredible,” Kolvet said.

A shot heard round the world

But what will chapters do who don’t have their own schools to reach? Start reaching the 15,000 middle schools? Or the 64,000 elementary schools in the US? They could start training them to be Charlie Kirks or Erika Kirks at an early age.

Or how about reaching nations that have responded to the assassination with demonstrations and vigils? Including the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, South Africa and Australia? New chapters could reach them online and help them develop their own culture-changing Turning Points.

The Charlie Kirk assassination became a shot heard round the world. Now it is awakening sleeping giants from “woke” nightmares to a history-making youth movement.
