PLO’S ABBAS APPROVES UIGHUR OPPRESSION. At the end of a trip to China for economic aid, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas said this: China’s crackdown on Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang has “nothing to do with human rights.” Instead they aim at “excising extremism and opposing terrorism and separatism.”
Hypocrisies in this statement abound. Abbas, head of the extremist terrorist group PLO, accuses Israel of violating Palestinian human rights. How? By giving them all of Gaza, so they can practice their own brand of separatism from Israel. But they demand far more than that. They have long publicly advocated the destruction of Israel so they can take over the whole country. In a recent poll, only 28% of Palestinians want the “two-state” solution that the UN wants to impose. Instead, 52% want to go to war to take over Israel completely. Even though Palestinians represent only 21% of Israel’s population.
So is that what the CCP wants to avoid? A Muslim minority (2% in China) becoming militant and threatening the majority? Surely China can prosecute any instigators without persecuting the rest.
One million Muslims in prison-like detention centers
While stirring up his Muslims, Abbas approves of China imprisoning one million+ Uighurs and other Muslims. Similarly, other Arab states have stayed silent in the face of such oppression. In these “detention centers”, China holds people for infractions like having a relative who studies abroad. Or any other excuse for maintaining control over these people.
Arab leaders near Israel have hardly ever offered their own countries for Muslims to resettle. Yet they castigate Israel for not setting aside enough settlements for Palestinians alone. Thank God, the world is waking up to this hypocrisy, as we witness in the Abraham accords. Pray that more countries will recognize Israel and be blessed. And not suffer the curse which God pronounced on those who curse her (Gen. 12:1-3).
