MASKS MAKE NO DIFFERENCE. CNN usually treats Dr. Fauci as an inerrant health guru. But in a recent CNN interview the host Smerconish confronted Fauci with the Cochrane review of masking.

Even NY Times calls it “The most rigorous & comprehensive analysis of scientific studies” on masking. Because it takes into account all the authoritative studies of masking, eliminating only “trash” studies. Oxford epidemiologist Tom Jefferson is the lead author of the Cochrane review on masking. Specifically, he said of masks: “There is just no evidence that they make any difference. Full stop.”
But Fauci said other studies showed that masking helped “individuals”, not the whole society. However, he did not cite any studies. So Jefferson said of Fauci’s lame response that it made no sense. How long must we suffer under health authorities like him who make no sense?
More mandates coming?
This question becomes very relevant when we consider rumors of new Covid cases and vax boosters. Already we are hearing warnings of new mandates for shots and lockdowns. And for the 2024 election, the prospect of early voting and drop boxes looms. The movie “2000 Mules” and other investigations showed how easily bad actors can falsify those results.
No wonder so many suspect that virus fearmongering will serve as an excuse for election interference. Will we see in 2024 a repeat of the unethical election practices that made the 2020 tallies so doubtful? The world tends to follow the US’ lead, and the world will suffer if this happens. Already in Belize, we hear of health officials preparing for more vaxxes. Let’s see the evidence first before we start another round of mandates.
Wherever you are, consider supporting only candidates who will allow a robust debate on health issues. And who will allow only the most secure and verifiable election processes and results. Anyone who opposes these is opening the door for liars and cheats.
