DEFINING WOMAN. Our legal team is working out the wording of these definitions for the Belize Constitution. But in an interview on his popular movie “What is a Woman?”, Matt Walsh stunned many with this definition. We may define a woman as “an adult biological female.” And I might add, “…born that way.” In the same way, we might define a man as an “adult biological male born that way.”
Why do people have problems with such simple time-honored consensus definitions? Because many want to tear down all boundaries and make our identities vague and easily manipulated. And so we need to define familiar terms in our constitutions to enshrine common sense. So that we don’t lose our sense of what we have in common and let nonsense rule us.
Raise up the age-old foundations
“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Ps. 11:3). We can raise them again. And go back to the basics. Marriage unites one man and one woman. Sex or gender is male and female only, determined by x and y chromosomes. Family is a basic social unit for the sake of children. For whom their biological father & mother have specific responsibilities and rights while they are minors. And alterable only when one biological parent legally procures another responsible parent of the opposite sex in the event of the death, separation or divorce of the other biological parent—who may if alive retain or claim corresponding responsibilities and rights of parentage.
The more we violate the boundaries of marriage, sex and family, the more trespasses and harm done. Because undeniable stats show the traditional family produces far more intelligent and law-abiding kids. Otherwise, kids lacking a stable home become unstable and much more often end up in prison. Where the government becomes their parent.
Woke “progressives” urge us to change sex, change sex partners, and rely on the state instead of family. Now we know why Paul says in the end times people will “forbid marriage” (1 Tim. 4:1-2). The only vows of loyalty they want will bind people to the state. To have and to hold us, not for better, but for worse.
