MEXICO HANDS OVER 30 TERRORISTS. Listen less to what a leader says. Instead, watch more what he or she does. Although Mexican President has often criticized Trump, she’s doing much of what he asks. Especially turning over drug cartel figures now identified by the US as terrorists.
In late February, Mexico turned over 29 of those figures, including drug lord Rafael Caro Quintero. He operated behind the killing of a U.S. DEA agent in 1985. Plus another man connected with the 2022 killing of a North Carolina sheriff’s deputy. Also members of five of the six Mexican organized crime groups designated as terrorists. Including both factions of the Sinaloa cartel.
Then on March 18, Mexico handed over a leader of the Salvadorean terrorist group MS-13. It makes its main base of operations in Los Angeles. But Mexican forces arrested Francisco Javier Roman Dardales in the Gulf Coast state of Veracruz. The FBI had listed him as one of its “Ten Most Wanted” suspects. Roman Bardales faces pending charges of drug extortion and distribution and violent crime in New York.
The Way Maker and Promise Keeper
The more we dismantle drug/terrorist organizations in Latin America, the better. Many prospective immigrants are fleeing areas which they dominate and terrorize. But they also terrorize and traffic in immigrants at the border. And carry them and their deadly drugs and criminal doings into the US.
Now, thank God, the US is not only stopping this illegal traffic. It is working with Latin American countries to halt crime there too. That will make the way for more of the Lord’s work in many terrorist-oppressed places. Instead of seeing the US as the Promised Land, we all need heaven to come to earth in our own lands. And seek the Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper and Light in our own darkness. Then be His light in the world we live in.
